RACHEL SHUEY
Founder and Co-Artistic Director
Brooklyn-based producer originally from New Orleans. Rachel has an eye for projects that push boundaries — from the Ukrainian Cultural Festival with Razom for Ukraine, to Manuel Ortiz’s Manifest Destiny at Teatro LATEA, to a festival honoring Gustav Mahler at the New York Philharmonic. She has produced work at Ars Nova’s ANT Fest, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, and LAByrinth Theater, and co-produced In France Michelle is a Man’s Name, a short film that took home the Grand Jury Prize at both Outfest and Slamdance.

MANUEL ORTIZ
Co-Artistic Director
Queer Latin director, playwright, and producer based in Brooklyn. Manuel has directed sixteen plays across Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, México, and the US — ten of them original works. In 2014 he founded the Corredor Latinoamericano de Teatro, an international platform bringing Latin American theater to new audiences worldwide. He currently serves as Associate Producer at Mercury Store, and his play Pichanga was published in Spain in 2019.

VIKTORIJA MICKUTE
Co-Artistic Director
Producer, director, and documentary filmmaker based in New York, originally from Lithuania. As senior producer at AJ Contrast — Al Jazeera’s media innovation studio — Viktorija led award-winning teams pioneering immersive storytelling in VR, interactive installations, and cross-platform media. She is currently directing a feature documentary on Latin American telenovela narratives and their impact on women in Eastern Europe. Her theater directing credits include The Real Real (2023, The Wooster Group).
