Set in Miami, the play follows Argentine expat Pamela, haunted by two ghosts: one takes the form of her estranged brother arriving from Buenos Aires while the other is a sixteenth-century friar who wanders her kitchen and swims in her pool. By turns ironic and revelatory, the play explores the legacy of imperialism and colonialism through the domestic strife of one aspirational Latine family.

For this special gathering, we invited not only theater artists but especially film creatives – directors, cinematographers, editors, producers – to imagine with us.
